Adam Bhatti, the PES European Community Manager, has made a blog post on the WENB forums detailing some features that unfortunately are not going to be included in PES 2014. He's done this in an attempt to get the news to fans earlier rather than later and avoid any surprises upon the games release. The omissions are indeed surprising, but we appreciate his openness and honesty.

Argentina, Brazil, & South America Covers

Konami have revealed the PES 2014 covers for Argentina, Brazil, and the remaining regions in South America. They are similar to the Chilean cover, seen here, in that they feature players from the corresponding leagues. For the remainder of the South America region, a Copa Libertadores themed cover is being used. This is in contrast to the European cover that simply features Champions League art and no cover star. Which style do you guys prefer?

Konami Digital Entertainment GmbH has revealed that its forthcoming PES 2014 title will mark a new beginning for the popular series, with an all-new engine allowing for the most comprehensive advance for the PES range since its inception. The PES Productions Team based in Tokyo have been developing a new approach to football for four years and can now confirm their new system uses Kojima Productions renowned Fox Engine at its core.
