Konami have released a new trailer for PES 2014 that shows the AFC Champions League. This accompanies news that Konami have also secured 2 Saudi Arabian stadiums. The Prince Abdullah al-Faisal Stadium which is the home ground of Al-Ahli SC and Al-Ittihad FC and The King Fahd International Stadium, the home ground of Al-Hilal, Al Nassr, Al Shabab and the Saudi Arabian national team. New Trailer, Screens & Cover Released!

Konami have released a new trailer and quite a few beautiful new screen shots this morning from the German games festival Gamescom!

Also offically announced is the European cover for PES 2014 which features the Champions League logo and a noticeable lack of a cover star. This marks the first time the series has not featured a cover star since PES 2. Personally I love it and wonder if we will get the same cover in North America. What do you think?

Konami Announce Argentinian License

Konami have announced that they have reached an agreement with the Argentinian Football Association (AFA) in order to bring the 20 AFA Primera Division Teams into their upcoming title, PES 2014. New screens were released as well! It will also see some of the teams home stadiums make its way and also sees Argentinian FOX Sports announcers, Mariano Closs and Fernando Niembro make their way into the game. New licenses are always good for the series moving forward.

Konami Digital Entertainment GmbH has revealed that its forthcoming PES 2014 title will mark a new beginning for the popular series, with an all-new engine allowing for the most comprehensive advance for the PES range since its inception. The PES Productions Team based in Tokyo have been developing a new approach to football for four years and can now confirm their new system uses Kojima Productions renowned Fox Engine at its core.
